This has been a dark time for Israel, for the Jewish community worldwide, and for us as Jewish students on campus. As this darkness persists, it feels even more critical to share our resilience and joy with our whole community. With this in mind, we’re focusing on the theme of “Our Hope” or Hatikvah Shelanu which will be the center point of Israel Block Party. Through this event, we will aim to unite and educate the polarized student body through our celebration of Israel’s amazing culture, strength, and resilience. This year’s IBP will also include space for remembering those lost over the last few months and those still in danger.

Additionally, we are working with our on- and off-campus security partners to ensure the safety of students and community members throughout the event, regardless of the presence of protestors.
