Much of life at Texas Hillel revolves around Jewish life and learning. Weekly Shabbat services and dinners will continue to be a place where students come together at the end of their busy week for community and connection. During the week, students have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Judaism in a welcoming space with the Jewish Learning Fellowship, one-on-one study with a Rabbi, Hebrew crash course, and Beit Midrash program.
New this semester is the Executive Mentorship Program. In this program, students interested in business will gain perspective and insight culled from Jewish wisdom, hear from a wide-range of executives representing different industries and roles, and build lasting relationships with executive-level mentors who are guided by Jewish values. This unique internship includes a trip to New York.
Rabbi Moshe Trepp, Texas Hillel’s Jewish Learning Fellowship Educator, will lead a group of students to Poland during spring break. With education and community service in mind, students will visit the camps and cities, and meet survivors and community builders. This week-long spiritual trip is an opportunity of a lifetime.
